Drew, or anyone else in the know - What design software is used at the R&B? (gotta love that abbreviation, btw)

Yeah, we all know Golden Skillet wouldn't have come to Danville or Tightsqueeze if we didn't!

Is it that they came, or that they just can't leave? My office is across the street from an insurance office that set up shop in an old Skillet. You can tell because they replaced the inside of the big-ass skillet roadsign with one bearing its name. Those big-ass skillets tend to be pretty propietary.

  8. You can't have a thread about Virginia without the Golden Skillet, can you?

As much as we all love the tastiness that is Golden Skillet, let's get back to discussion about the open job.

What are the hours like? Are you willing to teach Quark if applicants are willing to learn? Just asking.

Anywhere between 3 p.m.-1 a.m., give or take. Depends on if you are writing or laying out that night. Yes, we are willing to teach. I don't think the last person we hired knew Quark, although they did know a similar program.

    Explain.

Also, will someone with 3-4 years of daily newspaper experience, including some major college experience, actually get better working here and be able to move up after a couple of years? Or is it just a place to get clips?
