Reliable intelligence is hard to come by, isn't it, Yawn?

From Fred Barnes at the Weekly Standard:
    http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/013/234ukdvi.asp

"A glance at the breakdown of red and blue states in the 2004 presidential race shows how little it would take for (Hillary) to win the general election. If she holds the states won by Democrat John Kerry, she would need to add only one populous red state or two smaller ones. And there are numerous Republican states that have drifted toward the Democrats since 2004--Ohio, Colorado, Iowa, Montana, Nevada, Arizona, and Virginia, just to name a few."

Was this thread put together by 10 year olds? You passionate political folks sure are classy. I'm honestly surprised at the lack of 'PWN3D' entries I see on this thread.

How about everyone grow up a tad?

Be passionate about your beliefs, not politicians. They don't do the things they do for you. They do it to feel important and to pat themselves on their backsides with approval.

    Fubar --

Hey, I understand that emotions run high, but two things to consider.

    1. Everything is political. One cannot live outside that.

    2. Cynicism is not criticism. One is active, and one is passive.

And conversely, the Republican nominee is but one or two states from kicking the shit out of any Democrat nominee, much less Madame Che. Ever stop to wonder that Rudy G. could pull middlers into his camp in those so-called blue states? Especially with his social liberalism that would be smiled on by People's Republic of Massachusetts liberals and the like who don't see Kennedyists as carriers of the golden tablets?

Fact is this: A Bill Frist would get his ass kicked by the Che machine. But Republicans aren't that stupid. Rudy G. can win this election. And if you base that on any current poll that says Clinton is insurmountable, you must then move the election up to March 1, 2007. Unfortunately, you can't.

  8. Let us assume, because he is a talentless adminstration lickspittle, Fred Barnes is underplaying the data just a hair. The Ohio Republican party is a sunken wreck right now. Virginia just turned out a popular presidential-timber incumbent GOP senator. The incumbent GOP senator from Colorado up for re-election in 2008 just announced he's hanging them up. Iowa's always up for grabs, and so is Nevada, as of two cycles ago.
Yawn's right. Things are looking up.
And the "Che" thing makes you sound stupid. Really. You should find better writers to read.

And let's see...Howard Dean was once seen as insurmountable.

    Carry on, Vladimir.

You keep telling yourself that Yanni. Things can change, sure, but given the current political climate it's not looking good for 'ya.

Keep up the good fight, though. Maybe a couple of more forwarded e-mails will change everyone's minds. Hehehehehheheheh.

  11. By whom?
    One cite, please.

God almighty. Look back at the beginning of the campaign. He was the heavy favorite at one point.

    You can't be that short-sighted.
