The riff is the best part of Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath. And Iron Man is one of the last songs I'd mention when hyping Black Sabbath. It, Paranoid and War Pigs were overplayed 20 years ago. In fact, every single song on We Sold Our Soul ... smokes, with the exception of those three.

Damn near any intro to a Rage Against The Machine song.

SBS is a great song, no doubt about it. The riff is amazing. My thing is that Iron Man has such an ominous, sinister tone to it, like: "Oh shit, something really bad is about to happen." If I was a closer, I want that thought to be on everyone's mind in the opposing dugout. You really get that feeling when you listen to the version on the live "Speak of the Devil" album. Godsmack's Sick of Life is along those lines, too.

If I was stepping to the plate: The opening licks to "Crazy Train" or the opening to "More Human Than Human."

The morning I got married, my best man told me he listened to driving hard rock to calm himself down the morning of his wedding and that he had the songs running in his head whenever he was worried he'd get teary-eyed during the ceremony. So we blasted "More Human Than Human" and "Wherever I May Roam," both of which stuck in my head several hours later.

If I was a pitcher: "Eye of the Tiger." Yeah, it's cheesy. But it works.

"The Rainbow Connection" from The Muppet Movie.

The opening banjo strums strike fear in the hearts of opposing batters.
