Great computer simulations, better options re: scanners and broadcasts...The fact that it's basically like watching the race in real-time as a computer simulation...It's great for when I'm on the road...

If I might make a suggestion to the powers that be...
Please start a new NASCAR thread (or any other all-purpose thread for that matter) that pertains to the current season in a sport. This is going to get awful cumbersome by page 72.

Still not buying that explanation. Gasoline has an energy value of about 18,400 BTU/lb while jet fuel comes in at about 18,500 BTU/lb. That's a big price to pay for essentially no gain.

And 2MCM comes through again with some facts to disprove the black helicopters.
Should've known you'd pick up my slacker ass that didn't wanna do any digging.

(P.S. Did anyone see that Speed Road Challenge show last night? Can we please get away from the three-dumbass-judges-blatantly-ripping-off-American-Idol format on every judging reality show? I will say this, though: Michael Waltrip's staring at the girl who had the Speed tattoo barely above the plumber's crack was unintentionally high comedy.)

What is the whisper on what really happened to Waltrip car? Is sabatouge possible ?

It seems like there is some anti Toyota backlash going on. Whole thing has a feel of the movie Gung Ho

You know, Boom, that popped into my mind today when I was hearing what Michael Waltrip was saying. (He was being interviewed by Josh Elliott, filling in for Dan Patrick.) He says he's still mystified. Either he's putting on an award-winning act (very plausible) or the dude flat out doesn't know.

I would think sabotage would be near impossible, given how many people are looking over those cars when the garage is open, but wackier stuff has happened.

Maybe it's just a case of Waltrip fucking up everything he touches.

In related news, Jeff Burton has gone on the record as believing the Waltrip-associated penalties aren't tough enough:

    From Saturday's Toronto Sun:

"I am a proponent of tougher penalties," he said. "I think the 55 got off exceptionally easy. That's nothing personal against Michael. I just think they got off easy."

Why do we need a new thread? When you get past 5-10 pages, no one is going to read through the whole thing anyway
