Relax, Paper Doll....I plan on going the 29th so that I can go to the Cubs-Seattle games March 30 & 31. Will probably leave Tuesday. Will have to....I'll be out of $$$$!

The Palms requires a cab ride to/from the Strip, FYI. It's on the other side of the freeway.

I'm flying in early afternoon of April 29, so whoever else gets there early is welcome to carouse. Dairy Queen perhaps included.

Actually, if you just walk across the street to the Rio, Harrahs (parent company) now runs a pretty consistent group of shuttles to Caesars, Ballys, Harrahs and Flamingo. Runs every 15 to 30 minutes (depending on the casino). Not sure the start / end time, though....but pretty sure it's not 24/7.

The Gold Coast (next door to Rio) has been running shuttles to the Barbary Coast, but rumor is that those will have stopped by the time you all are enjoying LV.

OK, guys and dolls, time to start getting serious about this. We need to book hotel rooms and/or flights.

First, do we have an accurate head count of who's in? Idaho, how does the Monday dinner RSVP look?

And is the Palms agreeable, or do we need something within walking distance to the strip?

    Cadet,

There has been a very low number of people send PMs saying they will be there for a Monday dinner -- we're talking single digits.

I understand The Palms is a little off the strip, but it's geared to you young party animals, is close to the Rio, I-15 and very close to In & Out Burgers. The rate I got via Expedia.com can't be beat, either. $42 per night will help you afford several cab trips if that's what you need.

Again, if you want to meet for the dinner on Monday night, please PM so I can reserve seats for more than a big table.

Sportschick and I will be booking the reservation for the "girls room" at the Palms to get that $42/night rate.

If you're a chick interested in having us as roomies for the weekend, PM us with the dates you plan to be in Vegas.
