How long until he gets the angry call about the typo for "honest" and his job is threatened?

I\'m guessing the typos were from van gogh

  3. That was my typo. I typed it in from the paper because there was no link to post or copy from.

I really hate welcome and farewell columns. They're always "I-me, I-me" fests ...

  5. Thanks for taking the time to type that in for us, van Gogh.

I was anxious to read what he wrote, and he did not disappoint. I know Bracy is not Wright Thompson or Joe Posnanski, but he knows how to work the tired, old "capital city" into his copy. And he can putt better than Thompson or Posnanski.

What's the over/under on this guy? If that stat is true, 22 sports editors since 1994, he has maybe seven months. Does six months sound good?

Does he have any pets? How about hobbies?

Sigh. So many details left out.

Most posted on in the last year, but fourth in views (trailing Bama job at Birmingham, Kentucky job at Louisville and Jaguars job at Times-Union).

Can't even mention the paper he worked at by name or refer to it as "the paper up the street" or "the other paper", just says his first stint in the capital city as a sportswriter. I guess they're cracking down on all references - direct or veiled - about the competition.

    nah probably just bad writing.

can you name all of the sports editors, or acting sports editors, since 1990? I could probably name most of them but there must be some I'm forgetting.

I couldn't name any of them. I just know who their sports writers have been, not the editors.
