I think they would have liked to but they don't have any pieces to put together for anything decent, same in February when they would have taken Bibby or Kidd if a) they had the expiring contracts and decent young players to put it together and b) they could absorb the contracts. The only real option they had would have been to make a stronger move for Webber, and even then I think he was always headed back home to Detroit.
