Did the Ducks and Sens come into the league in 1992?

 

Sens came in '92 with Tampa.
Ducks came a year later with the Panthers.

Brutal loss for the Wings, they outplayed the Ducks for most of regulation.

 

You KNEW the Ducks were going to score and send it to OT when the Wings took that bad penalty near the end of regulation.

 

Even though I am a Canuck, I have been hoping for Anaheim to get into the Cup final. So if they do, I will probably be one of the only Canadians going for the Ducks over the Senators.

I do wonder what the Leafs are thinking right now, with Ottawa being in the "big dance", and the Maple Buds out on the golf course. Can you imagine how the Leafs will feel if the Sens win the Cup ;D

 

I'm pulling for an early-90s-expansion-themed Stanley Cup Final. Anaheim has quite the momentum now after Detroit's shortcomings.

 

I haven't seen this mentioned and I can't believe I'm just finding out about it, but ...

It'll only re-affirm for all of us looser Leafs fans the absolute incompetence of MLSE at all levels.

They can't draft and they can't even trade properly.

The Sens were essentially bankrupt before Melnyk bought the time from that scam artist McBride. And now they're favorites to win it all.

The suits over at ACC keep saying how important a Cup is, but let's face it, they're talking out of their asses. The only thing they're interested in is making money--which they do in spades.

 

As I said before, time to dump the Leafs.
