It's completed now: 6 1-3 IP, six hits, two runs, one walk, one strikeout.

 

This better not keep tumbling down. I wonder what's going through Glavine's head.

 

The Mets are about to blow another one for Glavine.

They blew exactly 13 in his first three years with the club. Not sure how many they've blown this year, but he could be sitting on about No. 312 or so, if not for fucking Looper and Benitez.

I fucking hate Blooper. Benitez is a fuck, too. I used to have a John Franco Starting Lineup figure hanging from my bedroom ceiling back in the 90s because of his terrible 1993 season. During the seasons where Benitez and Looper were closing, I never missed Franco so badly.

 

Ohman's coming in for the Cubs. Glavine's W should be safe.

 

I think Rickey needs to grab a pair of batting gloves.

 

I'm anything but a White Sox fan, but it should be noticed that Bobby Jenks has retired 32 STRAIGHT hitters at this point.
