it's going to be a hugely disappointing feeling when your potential second job interviews you, and puts you among the finalists, and then pulls the plug because they find out you have no degree. some places won't even take a look at you if you don't have a degree. i've seen it happen.
get a degree. if you're good, jobs will be there when you get out.

There won't be newspapers in two years only because everyone in this business says the sky is falling.

KaraokeC is right -- if CR is good, the jobs will be there.

IMHO ... Unless you're in New York where 35K ain't crap, take it. I don't understand why two years now isn't the same as two years later.

(Plus if it's two (or 10) years down the road, you hate it and you go back to school, the chics are always hotter. I've never heard anybody say ... girls sure were better looking when I was in school.)

Unless you're somewhere where 35K is peanuts, jump on it. Go to school when you can. You may be two years down the road and take 25K and kick the crap out of yourself every morning.

Not that I've been in a situation that's a lot like this one or anything ...

Read this over and over and follow it. Trust me.

  6. I have to admit ... I do really like this advice ... totally agree with it. In some ways, I wish somebody would have shared that with me while I was in college. I was so hell-bent on graduating, that I didn't take enough time to enjoy it. Of course, I have enjoyed being out pretty well too. But I love this advice ... if you can follow it ... then follow it.

This is an absolute no-brainer to me. Stay in school. It's not all about the career. Enjoy college life while you can. I was offered 38k after two years of school and staying in college was the best decision I've ever made.

Get your degree, there will always be another job.
There are a lot of good points on this thread, but you never know what can happen in the future, get the degree first, and enjoy college life.

I'm gonna echo this. I worked full-time while in school.

I'd much prefer that my kids can enjoy the full college life more than I did.
