George Mitchell is not naming any Red Sox players. None of note, anyway.

so watch out Manny Alexander! Oh wait he's already been nailed for 'roids.

Exactly. I would stunned if there are any Red Sox named tomorrow.

If ARod stays off the list, I think baseball in general will breathe a sigh of relief.

I have a feeling Schilling gets on it.

Have a feeling the majority of the names will be ho-hum, but there will be a couple of "Holy Shits".

It looks like Yankee haters might get their wish.

According to Klapish in the Bergen record...

Regardless of where the pendulum rests, this will be a sea-change moment in baseball history, particularly in New York. According to one industry official, "several" prominent Yankees will be named by Mitchell in his 2 p.m. news conference in Manhattan. The official, who spoke to a third party who'd seen the final report, predicted, "It's going to be a rough day in the Bronx" after the identities are made public.

No Mets from the current 40-man roster are named, according to the same source

As a Tribe fan boy "looser," I'm hoping Hafner's name isn't included, though his drastic dropoff last season certainly makes me suspicious.

The Yankees stuff is over a year old.

Sure hope the "prominent" Yankee is someone other than Clemens, Pettitte or Giambi ...

I smell a letdown across the board in that we won't get 'new' names. And by 'new' I mean names that come absolutely out of nowhere.

The comment leads me to believe that it not just going to be Pettitte and Giambi.

Meaning someone we have not heard over the past year or so. (Damon, Matsui, Abreu, Jeter, A-Rod)

Depending on the source, fifty to eighty players will be named. If one includes those who have already failed a test, outed themselves or otherwise been revealed, that's over sixty players already. Unless those 50-80 are new names, this will primarily be old news in a new package.
