Celts win 89-69 in Sactown. Physical game, C's improve to 23-3 and get their first win in Sacramento in 11+ years.

I will say this. If people think the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns are a better team than the Los Angeles Lakers, they are sadly mistaken. There is only one team in the West legitimately better than the Lakers, and that is the Spurs.

The Mavericks, I am baffled right now by what they are doing. Devin Harris is a solid point guard, Dirk is an overrated MVP and Josh Howard is a stud, but after that they don't have much. They start Eddie Jones for some dumb ass reason and they give Stackhouse a ton of minutes. Those two are ancient and not good enough to help this team become a legit contender.

Jason Terry is still a great basketball player, yet, they give him 25 minutes a game tops and now it appears he is completely out of sync. At the beginning of the season he was lights out from behind the arc and now tonight he goes 0-10 from the field. Are you kidding me?

This team is really screwing up and if they think Dirk is ever going to lead them anywhere they are wrong. Terry and Josh Howard are the players who should lead this team. Terry is getting screwed right now. I believe he said he wants to come off the bench but who cares. This guy should be getting 30+ minutes a game and should be the number three option at worst.

I really don't think the Lakers need to make any big time moves. Trevor Ariza should be starting at small forward and he looked explosive on Christmas day. He brings athleticism to that position for the Lakers and makes their starting five a lot more dynamic.

The Bulls traded the rights to LaMarcus Aldridge to the Blazers for the rights to Tyrus Thomas.

    Now that is awful.

On top of that, Tyrus Thomas is a renowned dickhead.

  5. Lakers up 47-27 early in the 2nd qtr. vs. Utah.

Kobe and Bynum looking good, again.

  6. Lakers up 75-48 at halftime over the Jazz.

I take back what I said earlier about Bryant and Bynum. The entire team is looking good.

Roy Jones Jr. was at Knicks practice today.

    Sadly, he didn't deck Isiah.

Any reason why tonight was the "Night of the Freakish Stat Line?"

    Dwight Howard - 29 points, 21 rebounds
    Chris Kaman - 22 points, 20 rebounds, 3 blocks

The Wizards hit 14 threes and lose to the Nuggets.

"Jason Terry is still a great basketball player"

A nice player but hardly great.
