  1. For anyone who's not watching the Lakers-Celtics game, the Lakers are wearing throwback jerseys, complete with nut-hugging shorts. The Staples Center crowd gave the team a standing ovation for the new "old" look. It's hilarious.

    Awesome. Just awesome. :) :D ;D

Derek Fisher's, umm, athletic supporter comes below his shorts. And Odom looks like an old-school Michael Cooper.

Derek Fisher's short shorts are awesome b/c he isn't wearing any kind of socks.

  5. Have I mentioned I despise Lamar Odom. I've never seen a 6-foot-10 player blow more layups. Criminy sakes!!!

Who gives a shit about the game itself? The fact that these supposed spoiled, coddled millionaires actually wore nuthuggers in 2007 is the greatest thing I've seen in years.

When I turned the game on I wondered if I was seeing correctly because I noticed how short the Lakers shorts were. That is pretty hilarious.

Old school Celtics-Lakers. Physical as hell, KG went to locker room before halftime and got a few stiches after he was elbowed in the face by Bynum.

Short shorts are no more. Apparently a nine-point halftime deficit did those in.

Celtics have come out strong and lead 62-52.

  11. Wow ... this officiating has been pretty lopsided as far as big calls, go. Bryant gets a very questionable charge call and then Pierce runs over Kwame Brown on a closer call and gets called a block.
This is like the 80s, with the officials letting the Celtics play their physical game.

What's interesting is, it seems one official is calling it looser for the Celtics, and another official seems to be giving the Lakers make-up calls. Anything to build a rivalry, eh? :)

Of course none of that matters since Paul Pierce just took the game over. 30 points through three quarters. Who cares if Ray Allen is on the bench?
