No way the Sharks take that risk in their room. Honestly, with his salary and his behaviour, I can't see many teams who would gamble unless their goaltending has gone completely sour. Even someone like L.A. who desperately needs a goaltender would think long and hard whether they need the sideshow.

 

Sideshow? Goaltending instability? It's obvious -- Emery HAS to go to Toronto...

 

That's all that guy needs. Toronto.

And uh ... I've heard anyway ... that McCarty isn't the only member of the Flames from the last couple of years who has issues with the smoke.

 

Good news everyone, the Lightning lost to the Sabres, and appear to be open for business.

Prospal, Boyle, Gratton and all expiring contracts must go. Yes, Boyle may be available.

All they ask in return is a real goaltender, some prospects -- preferably ones that can hit either the net or the opposition -- draft picks and salary cap space.

Heck, they might be crazy enough to go for Emery.

 

Emery and Torts in the same dressing room? The mind boggles.
