So we have to set our lineup before the pole is determined Sunday or before the twin 125s?

 

Um, no.

 

I worded my question wrong. I asked about setting the lineup the race, but I actually meant to be asking about setting the roster for a particular race. This is the line I found in the rules that prompted the question:

So is it the day of the race only for the Daytona 500?

 

Just to add a lttle clarifications for any rooks:

You pick 2 A driver, 4 B drivers and 2 C drivers before quailifying is complete. You get points for any of the 8 based on qualifying position.

Then you can decide whom to start (1 A, 2 Bs, 1 C) before the race deadline. You get points for those 4 for the actual race.

Needless to say, most of my open-wheel boys didn't qualify for this one...

 

To fantasy experts ... I have teams in two Yahoo leagues. Does that team's picks hold for both leagues? Kinda confused.

 

I did that one year ... had two leagues under the same handle, and I thought I remember you just pick once and the drivers are applied to both leagues.

Not sure if it's still the same way, though?

 

That's what it seems like, so I'm gonna hope it works out.
