Thanks. That's one of my all time Frasier scenes. He's just fantastic in that scene.

It's about as funny as a scene featuring only one person and no dialogue can possibly be.

All five of those are fantastic, you should go to 20. I can't get enough of this show.

An average episode can have a scene, or even a brief moment, that is just knocked out of the park.

McGinley has been tremendous throughout the entire series.

  5. Pretty much anything from West Wing, but especially the scene when the President is going up to the Hill to talk to the speaker and they decide to walk from the White House (encountering people from Kansas on the way - in front of the Canada embassy), wait at the Speaker's office, and then leave when he won't let them in. Awesome writing.

Also, when Toby finds that Josh has been shot:

I was so worried when they did the whole "assassination attempt on the President and his staff" because it could've been so cliche.
    It wasn't.
It was spectacular. Toby's reaction to finding Josh ... the slight catch and hesitation as he yells for help, like he can't comprehend what he's seeing. CJ and Sam's turn and run. Out-fucking-standing.
That whole episode. When the Secret Service rushes in to Hoynes' meeting with the USC women's volleyball team and whisks him away, the look on his face, knowing what's happened without being told.
The calmness and normalcy of the hospital and then the phone rings. The nurse picks up the regular phone, and then realizes it's the BLUE phone, then still thinks it's a drill until she sees Secret Servicemen rush in to prepare the hospital for Bartlet's arrival.

    Outstanding stuff.

This is a show that is never, ever shown and I missed it the first time. I wonder why.

I also forgot this one from the closing scene of the Wonder Years

The best of the Curb Your Enthusiasm finales.

    Incredibly NSFW

That's the first time I've seen that. Thanks a lot, Yawn. I kind of drifted away from The Wonder Years, though I always watch it when I see it on television. That's a great summation to a fine show.

One of my fave shows....and nearly forgotten on my part, Mike. And it sure sends chills thinking of my kids and how fast they grew up. And how much I seemed to have missed.

Hug your kids today and take an extra moment you wouldn't normally use to do so.

I've always loved the series finale of Boy Meets World, mostly for these two scenes:

If I have kids, I'll do that, sir. The Wonder Years always reminded me of Stand By Me. And that final scene is exactly why.
