If I remember the thread from last year, the best advice for first-timers is to wear your most prestigious golf shirt, switch things up with a pair of jorts and ask for autographs. Any other suggestions?

Golf shoes are a must for all that grip and performance you'll need walking from the media center to the big oak by the first tee. Also to blend in with all the other idiot spectators wearing golf shoes.

forking-A right, Butch. I'm not snobby about much, but when I see a guy walking behind the ropes in golf shoes, I'm like, You're not fooling anybody, doofus.

We were just talking about golf-shoe spectators yesterday. The best part about that is that even $150 golf shoes are absurdly uncomfortable.
But to one-up everyone, how about the couple that both wears golf shoes. Sweet.

Do those people wear spikes to a baseball game?

Make sure to bring a green jacket

No, but they wear a cup and helmet.

By all means sneak in a camera and a cell phone with the ring tone turned up to the highest volume level. You're bound to make many new friends during the 60 seconds you're on the grounds.

If you do this make sure the the ringtone is the CBS Masters music or something from Caddyshack
