let's just say tokenheimer and i go way back.

 

A Lee paper was the only one that didn't lay me off. They just understaff dramatically (and pay worse).

 

Four finalists have been named. That's all I know.

 

I heard that they never ended up hiring anyone on this.. is that true?

Out of curiosity, why? Could they be waiting until closer to prep season to save some $$$ or is the position frozen?

 

My guess is they're waiting until lthe end of the summer so they're not hiring a guy to sit around for a few weeks before getting to work.

 

yeah, but usually the prep work for the upcoming season starts in July at the latest. They should be making a hire now if they were smart.

 

I agee with that, Riddick, but then it makes you wonder why they started the whole process in the first place, narrowed to finalists, and then shut it down completely.

 

I'm guessing it's due to recent layoffs and shit. I'm hearing of four different job openings that were narrowed down to finalists, and are now suddenly on hold.

Prep as in preparation for the upcoming season, not prep as in athletic events.
