Saw on the CWS scroll that ESPN Classic will be replaying the game at 9 Eastern, without technical difficulties.

 

What a heartbreaking loss for Turkey. I don't think there's any doubt that their tourney has been a rousing success regardless. The heart they showed against Germany despite being shorthanded was pretty impressive.

 

That's good. FWIW, the re-air only had a small blip before the final flurry of goals.

 

What a fantastic match. Turkey showed no fear, though the Milky Way has less space than Lahm had to score the winning goal.

 

Because it is so catchy, I wanted to pass along the theme music they play when somebody scores a goal.

I wish this song would come on each time the alarm goes off in the morning.

There's something about that song and the roar inside the stadiums after a goal is scored that sends chills down my spine. It's like an exclamation point to an awesome moment. It's the soundtrack that accompanies greatness.
