I don't know what Twitter is. I really don't. I'm going to ask someone at lunch.

There's nothing wrong with using all the tools Woodward and Bernstein used.

    Basics are still important.

There's nothing wrong with using new tools, either.

Those 24 words are all I have at the moment.

I cringed when "Veteran Journalist" called her "young lady." Google is your friend:

Doesn't take away from his main point, though, and Scarborough is pushing her own obvious agenda.

Andy. If she is the woman whose site I've found, she is 47 and more navy vet than journalist.

For what it's worth, it appears she never worked for a daily or a weekly.

Here is the link. It APPEARS this is the writer.

Maybe it's because Scarborough's post seemed as if it was written by another 20-year-old intern twit.

Precisely what I pointed out to her after her third post when I said had she put a little more thought into her first post she wouldn't have gotten the reaction that she did. And round and round we go.

I'm sure this has been covered but the news hole in the Tribune looks bigger now than the Times, at least Mon-Fri. Sports may not be. But Metro is down to nothing -- and includes business in that nothing.

    Everyone is hurting.

    "professional toolbag?"

    "skill net?"

I have often wondered where they come up with the corporate Bozos who coin phrases like the above.

    Now I know.

What's the next "wave of the future," Valley-girlspeak?

BTW (hey, pretty snappy for an "old fart," eh?), I have some of my kids' Crayons laying around, I am fairly proficient at Etchasketch and I have friends who are into photoshopping.

    Clearly I am an artist.
