"Animal House" - not that funny??

I'll take Spaceballs among my list of B-grade comedies.

 

Not sure if on a past page, but how is this shirt not funny?

There are so many great lines from Airplaine...a few:

Dr. Rumack: "This woman needs to get to a hospital!"
Elaine: "A hospital? What is it?"
Dr.: "It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now."

Elaine: "Headquarters? What is it?"
Striker: "It's a big building where generals meet, but that's not important right now."

McCrosky: "What can you make of this?"
Gay guy: "Well, I can make a hat, or a broach, or a pterodactyl."

Over, Unger, Roger, Unger, Over, Roger. Huh?

What's your vector Victor?

And of course, don't forget the white phone-red phone discussion AND the jive dudes. "Excuse me stewardess, I speak Jive."

 

And Leon's getting larger!

 

and the scene where the 10-year old kid tells Kareem Abdul Jabbar what his father thinks of his play.

 

Napoleon Dynamite was a steaming pile of unfunny.

Airplane! was awesome. "Tell your old man to drag Walton and Lanier up and down the court for 48 minutes!"

First time?

No I've been nervous lots of times.

 

Night Shift was outstanding. I can only guess one of the reasons it's underappreciated today is it hasn't been on HBO or Showtime or Starz, playing every week. If it ever gets into such a rotation, it would pick up a whole lot of appreciation.
