    He's a writer, the guy who did the article about his experience in the WSOP several years ago. I think it was in Esquire, pre-poker craze. It was in Best American Sportswriting that year.

    It is a different James McManus, rather than the one that wrote Positively Fifth Street.

    Down to 50 players. Matusow is a major player with 3.4 million chips. Hellmuth has about 715,000 and is hanging in there but will need to get a double up at some point.

    They'll play down to 27 today.

    I'm sure Phil would agree that if playing perfectly meant winning every tournament, he'd never lose.
