I've defended Peter since I registered on this message board a couple years ago. I've always thought you guys were too tough on him when he wrote whimsical bits about his family or his travel escapades or his starbucks visits. MMQ was never intended to be a hard-core all-NFL piece, and I always thought Peter made MMQ a very readable, very enjoyable piece if taken for what it was intended to be.

After reading this, I can no longer defend Peter.

    This is fucking embarrassing.

I just can't believe what I just read.

At this point I'd be shocked if Peter wasn't writing those little nuggets just for this board.

I don't know what other purpose they could possibly serve.

And no one could be that clueless.

    Right?

What Peter failed to tell is was that the lady was arrested when the plane landed. Here is a picture of her on way to her arraignment.

Found this gem in Tuesday Morning QB:

NOW THIS IS A GREAT IDEA. From Kevin Rohrbach, of Limerick, Pa.: Regarding ideas for new sections in your Monday Morning Quarterback column: How about a section on the NFL that is devoid of Brett Favre, Bill Belichick, Bill Parcells, or the New England Patriots. Now that would be refreshing!''

I could call it "The Favre/Belichick/Parcells/Patriots-Free Zone.'' And you know what, Kevin? Judging by all the blasting I get for over-writing those topics, you have a lot of company. By the way, in next week's MMQB, I'll have a ballot with 10 ideas that you guys are going to vote for. And you will decide the new additions to the column. So get your voting fingers ready ... and please, no Evan Longoria-ballot-
