Yeah, I hate that one too. And I just had Olive Garden not long ago, which makes me angry. I always tell myself I'm not going to use the products advertised in shitty commercials, and yet I did in this case.

If the band has made it big, it pisses me off and I think they're sellouts if their songs crop up in commercials. Yet when I hear the New Pornographers in those University of Phoenix national ads, I think "Good for them!" I guess I can't have it both ways.

Definitely on board with that opinion.

The one that gets me is actually an infomercial. It seems to show on every Fox Sports Net channel during the middle of the night, but it's always on when I come in at 2 or 3 in the morning and go to turn my son's TV off after he's fallen asleep watching baseball. Something called Extenz, which in a roundabout way tells you that if you don't have a large member, women won't love you. Three girls talk on a "talk show" about how they were totally in love with guys until they found out they were too small, and they just couldn't get past that and stay in love with them. Then we go to the roving street reporter who asks several couples if they're ever heard of Extenz. Surprise, surprise, all of them not only have heard of the product, but they use it too!! And it really increases their size and stamina.

Okay, I know commercials like this have been around forever (hell, I remember my first introduction to an informercial: A hungover Saturday morning with Lyle Wagonner touting a penis pump), but do they have to be on the same channel that my son watches for a baseball game and naturally falls asleep to? Put them on Spike or something else, but leave Fox Sports to informercials that aren't going to scar my son for life.

Well, if you pass down the Lyle Wagonner penis pump to your son, he should have nothing to worry about.

Honestly, I find those commercials hilarious, because not once is the word "penis" used.

It's always "that certain part of a man's body", or something close to it.

Anyone remember when Chapelle's show did a thing like that, only for the spam he gets on the internet?

    "Yeah son, I'm a doctor"

See pages 5 and 11 of this thread.

And no, on top of dressing like a clerk at Marshall's, the woman is NOT hot.

It has gotten to the point where any show less tame than Nick toons are going to have several objectional ads, no matter how benign the program content is.

It's probably been said before, but I love the Addams Family dark M&M's commercial.

The new ones FCR has rolled out are so much worse than the first set.

They are trying way to hard.

The Pizza Hut woman with the chocolate breadsticks pretending to be French? Fail.

I know this is for commercials we hate, but I wanted to comment on one I enjoyed -- it's for a video game, Mercenaries 2. The song that plays during that commercial cracks me up and gets stuck in my head, in a good way. It's actually kinda catchy.
