With Gannett just laying off 1,000 people nationwide last month, it's probably been frozen.

 

would be nice if the sports editor would just say that

Tomas, I'm just saying if the guy had enough time to implore people to send resumes, he has enough time to type one sentence saying the job is frozen

The job was not frozen as of last week.

They had in a high-quality candidate.

 

What was the hardest question they asked you?

 

ya know, HB, you try and you try and you try to get through to kids nowadays. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

 

Is this job even still available? If it is, I'm interested.

 

I truly hope that this is not one of those here today gone tomorrow gigs. It wouldn't set too well with many around here, especially since the SE came on sayng the job was still open. I know with Gannett, politics come into play. Hopefully, that won't happen here and the new hire will have a great career.
