Tribune edits a paid death notice

    I think the Trib dropped the ball big-time here. How is saying to vote Democratic offensive?

    Trib has NEVER endorsed a Dem on a national ticket. This year will be no different.

    That's pretty bad. I can understand editing out obvious and confirmed factual errors, such as if the family said he played for the Yankees and won the Congressional Medal of Honor but this is stupid.

    That's why I hate the traditional conservative media.

    I agree with the decision wholeheartedly - I mean, the paper is just doing its part to fend off the dumbing down of America. After all, we all know that liberals aren't real bright. :)
