    Fuck that.

I prefer the English to bicker and self loathe.

Just booted from Toyota Park. Apparently their lot is closed. After party time!

Screw them. Glad you got to see the match. The atmosphere was almost reminiscent of Section 101 - at least the numerous crowd shots we got from ESPN indicated such.

Thank goodness it was Trinidad & Tobago and not Mexico, where the latter would overrun the Americans in just about any venue North of the Border to watch their side.

Having just watched England's highlights on Setanta ... I heart Theo Walcott. [/Anglosoccerphile]

  6. Canada at Mexico, Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas
    Mexico won 2-1
Canada played D all night long and would have been happy with 0-0
losing is not going to add enough points; it's a wrap

I tried to watch some of the Canada match on justin.tv.

I was hoping for a draw, but apparently Canada still has a long way to go.

It has been a very disappointing campaign for them after the Gold Cup last year.

Is it just the negative style of play, Lawrence, or something else?

Just saw the England highlight's on FSC.

    1. Those were some nice goals.

    2. That assault on Joe Cole needs to sit Kovac for at least three games.

Plenty of room on the bandwagon, Inks.

I jumped on during the Champions League last year, when he went three-quarters of the field against Liverpool to score the then-tying goal in the second game of their quarterfinal series. One of the most amazing goals I've seen in quite some time.

Wenger needs to play him more. Period.

Oh, that was a beauty of a goal in the CL. Shame he plays for the dirty Gunners and I can only root for him when he's wearing England's kit.

I'm definitely in the same boat.
