    They've typically been pretty slow to hire. To throw a wrench in things even more, the managing editor was fired today, so... yeah.

    i would think this would give an upper hand to anyone they really want to hire. maybe the only time that happens for a while.

    Have they started the hiring process for a sports editor yet? Any reason why Gerard was let go? He seemed like a nice enough guy during my phone interview.
