Next up on the chopping block: Phil Dawson. The Browns spent the last part of the 2008 season phasing his job out.

Less people can be tasked with doing more work.
And writers can do a little more work on gameday.
That's my opinion.
No, I'm not naming teams. Media relations people are often nice folks.
Soome are arrogant and thinkm the games can't kick off without them.
Many media relations staffs are overstaffed, in my opinion.

 

It might not have been very nice, but seriously ... Braylon Edwards dropped everything that wasn't an endorsement or a chance to network. For all his talent, he didn't help his team as much as he's capable of.

Readers have written and asked: Why does it matter? These people don't make the difference between winning and losing.

Well, the way people are treated matters. If it didn't matter, we wouldn't teach our kids manners.

There is a lot wrong with that commentary/newspiece
For one, I doubt the writer knows each and every (if any) of those who he lists that got fired.
So how can he judge whether they "worked their hardest so the team could function as best it could." ?
Teaching our kids manners? Pleeeeeeeease !
Kids need to learn the realities of life.
Nothing is guaranteed, nothing lasts forever, and you always need to have a Plan B

Manners? Sheesh !!!
