I can answer questions about this one. The night staff is good people.

  3. What's the cost of living like there, AJ? Also, any guesses on the pay scale? Looks like a great gig, but seems like that part of the country would be brutally expensive to live in. Thanks in advance.

Cost of living is brutal. $900+ for decent accommodations, though you might be able to find a desperate owner willing to rent cheap these days. If you're looking to buy, $180k or so for 1,000 square feet is an absolute steal around here.

Gas is $1.89/gallon on the Cape today.

Pay, however, is good (at least by the standards you see discussed around this business).

I applied for this one last week. Does anyone know when we will be hearing about potential interviews?

Also, can anyone in the area tell me what the commute may be like (traffic, etc)? I'll be coming from the South Shore. I'm sure it would take some getting used to, but the distance doesn't seem too bad.

Thank you in advance for anyone who can help :)

Easy ride from the South Shore, but be prepared to deal with heavy traffic in the summer.

ask the question yourself ... that's what, you know, good reporters do, find out the facts for themselves.

Apparently they also rat up messageboards all day too. With enough wiseass messages like that, you'll hit 30,000 in no time buddy.
