Questions for A-Rod?

Discussion in 'Journalism topics only' started by Christopher McCandless, Feb 16, 2009.

  1. What newspaper problems? Just about every media outlet is dropping into Tampa for the A-Rod press conference Tuesday. So what are the questions that need to be asked that Gammons left hanging?

I'd start with, "How'd that apology to the SI reporter go over? Better than with Cynthia or Madonna?"

Yup, being an asshole is definitely the way to go.

  3. Um, I was joking - but okay.

I do think it needs to be asked: "In the same interview during which you admitted to using something while in Texas, you also lied about the actions of a reporter. Why should people believe anything you say?"

  6. A-Fraud, A-Roid and A-Hole already used. I can't imagine what the Post has to come after tomorrow.

  7. Alex, perhaps you could talk a little bit about having roughly three friends in MLB. What's that like?

Alex, how do you attain such a pinkish hue (ala George Costanza) with your face in early February?

Alex, during your sitdown interview with Peter Gammons, you admitted to using a banned substance during a three year window. What exactly was the substance and when did you stop using the substance?

You said you didn't know the substance(s)...But, you know they are banned?
    Huh?

    Who gave them to you?
Who knew that you did them?
    Who also does them?

Were you ever given advance warning of a drug test by Gene Orza or anyone else affiliated with the union?
