To anyone looking for NIT coverage at Madison Square Garden, I am a freelance journalist located in the New York area. I have experience covering both men's and women's college basketball, including the first round of the women's NCAAs in 2006 and the 2007 Big Ten basketball tournament in Chicago. My last stop was MLB.com, so I can quickly churn out a story on deadline and have extensive experience writing gamers, sidebars and early stories. For any publications that need coverage of a local team but don't want to spend the money to send a writer to MSG, I can provide a cheaper alternative.

Hope to hear from one or more of you, at which point a full resume and examples of my work can be provided. Thank you.

... and I was on the Penn State men's basketball beat a couple years ago, if that would prove useful to anyone.
