Hey, I calls it like I sees it.

Fortunately, I'm blind as a fucking bat.

Well, I just got called by the NY Giants to get my season tickets for the new stadium in 2010. What's available? The cheapest is a $7500 PSL, with ticket prices at $400.

Does anyone have a spare $23K lying around so I can get 2?

Do they charge the $10,750 to you up front, or can you pay per ARod at bat or Sabathia inning pitched?

I keep hearing economists and analysts and sports business people say that the golden goose is about to burst in sports -- that the finances of sports are about to be brought way back into line because corporate dollars and private dollars available to fund sports are going to be dried up.

Then I see shit like this -- and realize people are going to pay these prices, even if it means taking their kids out of private schools and moving to public housing and thus come to the realization that the analysts are full of shit and just wishful thinking.

This thing ain't ever coming back to reality.

Ditto. So you got an extra ticket?

It's simple. You buy the tickets and then scalp 'em!

Stand outside (the new!) Yankee Stadium holding up the tickets and someone approaches, say, "Yeah, four good seats, $12,000."

    That's a profit of $1,250. Easy money!

    That's just ridiculous.

Padilla will be on the DL by then.

I'll make one game this year.

And we'll be sitting with the swells.

    Thankfully, won't be paying.

Ragu, it's just the Invisible Hand at work. Nobody is being forced to buy these tickets.

Yankee Stadium? In the words of Yogi Berra, nobody goes there anymore because it's too crowded.
