Yay for Twitter updates from friends, since I don't have a computer with a video card here to watch it. ::)

Texas takes the lead in the 25th. They haven't scored since the second. Damn.

Yep. Austin Wood, the team's closer, pitched a helluva game and gets nothing but praise.

I think UT's flagship radio station has run out of commercials. They've been running PSAs and station promo ads between innings.

And the loser of this game faces Army at noon Sunday ... today.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't people burying UVa a few pages ago?

The guy that got the game-winning hit for Texas finished the night 2 for 12. You could write that he broke a 1 for 11 slump with his RBI in the 25th.

20 hits for UT, 3 runs. Unreal.

    And no double plays either.

Too bad that performance won't earn Wood cult status here like Dice-K in Japan. He deserves it.

Apparently, Wood didn't give up a hit until his TENTH inning of relief. And Boston College isn't Dartmouth either. That team has some legit hitters.

It was 0 for 10. His other hit was in the first inning, I believe.

And Wood went 11+ without allowing a hit. The BC players applauded him when he left the game. Somehow, UT only used three pitchers.

    That boxscore's a keeper.

    Man, that's Haddix-esque. Crazy stuff.
