That's your only problem with the movie?

Pretty good film. But knowing that the main character was Jude, I was distracted waiting for the moment someone would start singing Hey Jude.

Not to mention characters named Lucy, Prudence, Sadie, Mr. Kite and Dr. Robert.

But I thought it was well-done. A little over-the-top at times, but still enjoyable. The actors could really sing, too.

What I've seen lately (all within the last week):

The Hangover --- funniest movie I've seen since The 40-Year-Old Virgin

Forgetting Sarah Marshall --- well-executed for the most part

    The Heartbreak Kid --- meh

    The Front.

Woody's second-greatest b&w opening sequence, right behind Manhattan.

You'll never hear Sinatra's "Young At Heart" and feel the same way, again.

And if you don't know/understand how unmistakably great Zero Mostel was, watch this, and find out.

There's a "short wait" for this, on NetFlix, 33 years after release. Find out why.

I'm hoping to watch Manhattan tonight when I get in from work.

Yeah, that ruined it for me in some ways. Still a great, great movie, but that little tidbit bugs me, even though it probably shouldn't.

Not really. Having read the book, I found it to be too fictionalized. I didn't remember Mike Winchell having sex at a party in the book.

All in all, it was pretty cheesy... but Bissinger has only himself to blame, since he's related to the director.

It's OK. The twist ruined it for me but it was an alright movie, though far from Will Smith's best work. Atleast Charlize Theron is hot.

    One of the earliest manifestations of Woody's sustained dirty-old-mandom . . . take the good . . . . leave the less-than-ideal . . .

Agreed. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I had high hopes entering it but to say it was a disappointment would be putting it lightly.

Just watched 12 Rounds. Pretty much exactly what you would expect. Solid two hours of mindless entertainment, just don't think too much about the plot and you'll enjoy it.

"W." followed by "In Debt We Trust" a couple of days later. I preferred the latter, but that's not saying much. Isn't there anything silly yet not awful on Netflix On Demand?
