Wal-Mart's Sustainability Index

    The way I see it, the data and how it can possibly be obtained is only one question. The other is: sustainable compared to what? The styrofoam cup that will rot in a landfill for 10,000 years? If you get a 100% score on the sustainability index does that mean there's no carbon footprint whatsoever? Whatever number system they come up with will be arbitrary at best.
