    True, Jimmy, true.

  2. Wow. I'd ask if Tebow fucked your wife or something based on your posts in this thread, but thanks to Clay Travis we all know that isn't true. How exactly does UF trumpet Tebow's religious beliefs? Pretty sure it's the media doing that.

Anyway, my two cents. I don't care if it's Clay Travis or Austin Murphy or Jesus Christ himself asking the question, it's not appropriate. It's an invasion of privacy and it has nothing to do with football. Imagine the outrage if it were a female athlete being asked the same question.

But good for Tebow handling it the way he did. I respect him both for that and for sticking to his beliefs. Whether you personally equate abstinence and Christianity or not, Tebow obviously does, so why criticize him for that?

So she drinks copious amounts of alcohol and then gets pulled over for DWI?

Outstanding point. Of course other than maybe Alabama, no school is covered by a larger and more fawning media corps than Florida. I'd be curious how many Texas papers cover UT on a daily basis. I guarantee you it's about a fifth of what covers UF.

UF also is legendary for having one of the most manipulative PR departments in the college game. When the media will swallow any story that's spoon fed to them this is kind of BS people have to read.

I am not sure that the UF press corps is more fawning than some others, but the reporters sure do travel in packs.

Trust me, they are... The ones who have been there awhile are pretty bad.

Someone told me one year, and there's been some turnover since, then that there were 18 writers who travel regularly with UF football and 12 of them are UF grads.

I know UF has a good J-school, but that's obscene.
