It seems Deadspin is about to go guns blazing at ESPN re: sex rumors

The blogs are held to the same legal standard right now. If it's false, deadspin can be sued.

The other thing I'd like to point out is that ESPN may have all this bonking going on because they seem to be one of the last places that is actually hiring women. When you are a pretty much all-male revue like Yahoo Sports, there aren't any women to harass, interns to share a hotel room with or indiscrete affairs with your bosses.

Not that I condone any of that behavior.

When is the government going to regulate the media?

Here is an answer we should all pray is the right one: Hopefully never.

Yeah, after posting that, I realized how silly it was. I guess I meant the government regulating the internet in general. For example, a 10-year-old can't go into a 7-11 and buy a Playboy, but he can click the "Yes, I'm 18" button and cruise through any porn site.

Here's the final post of the day.

Underwhelming. Who is the guy sandwiched between the young ladies?

    Two issues.

First, the Supreme Court has ruled that protecting minors from porn isn't so important as to require infringement on adults' rights to read it.

Second, the internet is beyond the control of the U.S. government.

Oh, yeah? We can just get Al Gore to undo it.

A.J. tweeted he needed a shower after today. Likely to get the stench of FAIL! removed.

Hmm, a half day delay and then just a general post that named no new names? Sounds to me like the lawyers intervened and shut him down this afternoon. This final post was just an attempt to save face after failing to deliver on the original promise.

Not that I want to involve myself in this sordid rumor-mongering, but it looks like one of the Mikes to me. Or Tim Tebow.

My understand is that the Senior VP-as-public-figure is, indeed, a very gray area. You could argue either way. I would lean to her not being a public figure, but I can see the other side of the argument, too.
