And in fairness to Leeds, there does appear to be a full house behind the goal. It's just that we hadn't seen that goal yet, because it's the one Kettering are shooting at.

Bayern's taken the lead, Olic with the goal.

So, Liverpool vs. Juventus in the Europa final.

I've paid much more attention to Wolfsburg since rumors started swirling that Wenger loved that big striker, Dzeko.

He just screamed in a header to level United. I LOVE that guy. Every time I watch them, he's scoring a goal. He's about 6-foot-2, and he's slick and powerful with his feet and head. He would be an absolutely perfect goal poacher up top for the Gunners, and he's skilled enough to suit Wenger's tastes. He would put them back in the Premier League race. Couldn't help in the CL, like Arshavin couldn't season, but whatever. Sign that dude in January.

And Kettering are level, 1-1, with about 28 minutes to play.

And that is most likely that for Juventus, as Bayern goes 3-1 up.

Juve would need two goals quickly to advance with a draw.

So I take it you're not buying rumors of United's financial woes?

Bayern is through, 4-1 final in Turin.

APOEL grabbed a late equalizer at Stamford Bridge for a 2-2 tie.

Is CSKA the first Russian club to make it into last 16?

And in case anyone wonders if there's any hard feelings on the Juve side re: Heysel -- from the Turin leg of the Liverpool-Juventus 2005 Champions League quarterfinal series:

Most Juventus fans accepted the goodwill gestures that the Liverpool club, fans and city made in the first leg. Unfortunately, not everyone.

I hope not. Last time they met at a final was a damn mess.
