Baghdad Bob was a better PR guy than the whole BP cadre. At least he was funny.

When has it been proven BP was grossly negligent? Didn't Obama's administration have BP up as one of three finalists for a federal award honoring offshore oil companies for "outstanding safety and pollution prevention."
Both BP and the US Government have made a lot of mistakes, but I haven't seen where the rig explosion was anything but a tragic accident.

Dude, I'm in the "shit happens" camp on a lot of things -- including this, to an extent -- but you're off-base on this one. The congressional hearings have pretty much made it clear that BP took enough shortcuts in drilling the well to make a blowout much more likely. Kind of like the kid who jumps off the roof 99 times, then breaks his leg on the 100th jump and says, "I don't know how this happened."

Wait, weren't there reports even shortly after the explosion that the crew on the rig repeatedly warned of safety risks that were being taken and were repeatedly told to keep cranking out the oil and damn the risks? That sounds grossly negligent to me, but then I don't have Ph.D. like Heyward does. This guy might be the most callous individual in our lifetime.

The clean up effort is being run the Three Stooges of the 21st Century, instead of Larry, Moe and Curly, it's Barack Obama, Thad Allen and Tony Hayward, who was replaced by Doug Suttles, just like Curly was replaced by Shemp.

BP's doing a REAL GOOD job at digging a hole for itself quickly, too bad they can't dig the relief well this quick and stop the oil from gushing out of the whole.

I do find it funny BP put's this message on it's Facebook page:
19 June 2010 Update: On June 18, total oil recovered was approx. 24,500 barrels, Total oil recovered from both the LMRP Cap and Q4000 systems since they were implemented is approx. 228,500 barrels.

Sounds like a lot until you think about the 60k gallons a day that are gushing out!!

    MSNBC discussing Obama's day yesterday.

    Guess what? He played golf.

But, unlike Tony Hayward, he has the power to prevent any pictures from being taken. He played on a military base and they didn't let the press pool snap a shot.

Oh, and it looks like Hayward not only attended the yacht race, but participated.

MSNBC showed a picture of a guy in a baseball cap & sun glasses on the boat that they think is him.

Do you understand that Obama didn't cause the spill?

So, he has no role in getting the hole plugged or the cleanup of the Gulf?
