Pretty funny that the Knicks' plans got pissed on by this new development. I really think its Chicago or Cleveland now. But I've been wrong before.

Pretty funny also that the Knicks thought a big fancy dinner was going to impress LBJ. I mean, he's been one of the richest athletes in the world for eight years; do they really think he can't have a big fancy dinner any time he feels like it?

If I were LeBron, considering the Knicks have been publicly lusting for this day back to the Isiah Thomas/Larry Brown administration, and the roster is just about as freaking pathetic as it ever was (well, not quite, but close), I'd laugh in their faces.

Rod Thorn retiring as president of the Nets by July 15 . Jerry Colangelo is likely successor.

One exec says LeBron to Chicago is a "done deal." http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/27/sports/basketball/27draft.html?src=tptw

I wonder if the SJ crew can book a meeting with LeBron while we're in Cleveland next weekend?

Wojnarowski continues to pump out interesting stuff from a story that feels like it's on repeat.

Quite a few statements that Simmons has passed off as "encyclopedic knowledge of the NBA" have been false or highly misleading. It is true, however, that he knows and writes the NBA better than anything else.

SAS says LeBron and Bosh will join Wade in Miami.

I wish teams could collude on ripping off the players, since it seems players can collude with each other.

If that is true, do you think Michael Beasley will feel even more "disrespected?"
