Roger took his mugging like a real New Yorker. Of course I always get laid by the hot chick right after a mugging. Gets the girls horny, don't you know?

Agreed. Very powerful stuff there, the women seeing Don vulnerable in front of his girl, given his rep. I didn't think I could love Draper character more, until these last few episodes. Might be my favorite TV character of all time.

I kinda took it more like the women knew Sally was having a hard time, and blaming Betty for causing her problems. Kindof like, "What are you doing to this poor child?"

I think that killing off Dr. Rapist in Vietnam is too obvious. It would be more interesting if he came back wounded (mentally or physically) and Joan had to deal with the long-term effects of that.

As a side note, I predict that Joan becomes pregnant with Sterling's baby. I'm willing to bet that she wasn't the one in that marriage with fertility issues.

Anyone catch the last thing Ms. Blankenship said in the episode.

"Are you going to the toilet?"

    Hilarious.

After it was revealed that he was eating rum flavored french toast, you just knew he was going to keep eating it and say it was delicious.

    No doubt about it.

The 1-20 favorite remains: he wll not return in the pristine state in which he left.

Boy, I really saw that too. She really is like a little Betty, both good and bad. Great stuff.

Actually - I think it is the other way around.

Great sequence when Sterling and Cooper stop by to "eulogize" Mrs. Blankenship:

STERLING: "She died as she lived. Answering other people's phones."

COOPER: "She was born in 1898 in a barn. She died on the 37th floor of a skyscraper. She was an astronaut."

I had a great-great aunt who was born in 1903 (three months before Bob Hope) and died in 2007. I often think about all the incredible things she saw --- and all the changes she experienced --- during her lifetime.

While the Cooper character continues to shed marbles as he ages, Morse's reads remain flawless,
and his crossword-puzzle verbal exchange with the late Ms. B was priceless.
