    Really? Browns/Ravens was good. Falcons/Saints in OT. Bills/Pats was back and forth.

    My Bills looked ... respectable today. I'll take it!

    Yeah, really. Most weren't very good. 2 of the 3 games you mention have an asterisk since they involve the Browns and Bills...

    EDIT: For me, a good game qualifies as the ending was in doubt late. Anyone here really think the Bills would win? NE opened a 15-point lead in the 4th. Sounded like the Ravens weren't interested at all.

    Falcons/Saints...VERY good game. Hope it's a tie.

    Yeah, but ... geez, where does one even start with the Niners' offense? Jimmy Raye is making Marc Trestman looking like a riverboat gambler.

    The Giants are headed for 5-11, at best. That is a bad football team right now.

    NFL teams don't often win games like that unless they're really good. I hate to get too exctied, but damn, Kansas City might very well be a playoff team.

    My cable provider offered a free preview of NFL Red Zone. This may be the greatest channel ever. Instead of flipping between the three early games we normally get I kept it on there and then checked Jays-Orioles and JR's kid ripping it up in the Eskimos-Argos game. Didn't miss a thing.

    Karma for New Orleans. They block Matt Bryant's potential game-winner in OT. Good field position, right? Momentum boost, right? Nope. The Saints called timeout to ice, of all people, Bryant.

    There was no doubt Bryant would make the next kick.

    After the Indy and Houston games, KC's schedule is quite favorable:
    BYE
    @Indy
    @Houston
    Jacksonville
    Buffalo
    @Oakland
    @Denver
    Arizona
    @Seattle
    Denver
    @San Diego
    @St. Louis
    Tennessee
    Oakland

    Jacksonville, Buffalo and Oakland could have KC at 6-2 at the midway point. Add in wins at St. Louis and vs. Oakland to close out the season and that's eight wins. I'm guessing they'll split the season series with rival Denver. They could easily pick up a 10th win against a team like Seattle, Arizona or Tennessee. None of those teams are dominant.

    I'd love to put $50 on KC to make the playoffs right now.

    The whistles were clearly blowing before the snap, though. The kick might have been blocked because most of the guys heard them and eased up.
