RIP Guitar Hero

    My 8-year-old son learned to play Guitar Hero and can play most of the Eddie Van Halen solos pretty damn good. He amazes me. It got him interested in guitar and now he is taking guitar lessons to learn to play those songs on a real guitar.

    And I have to credit Guitar Hero for putting the love of Van Halen, Aerosmith and many more classic rock bands into both my son and my 5-year-old daughter - whose favorite song now is Hot for Teacher.
