The split screen of the Obama speech and Texas game was classic. Like anyone really cared about what he was saying on Libya.

    Gaddafi had Oakland plus 10.

Did R.A. Dickey end up getting the win?

Michigan and Tennessee couldn't be more different. Michigan has been one of the hottest teams in basketball the last two months. If they pull this win off, they will be something like 14-4 in their last 18 games. The losses came against the No.1 team in the nation twice, a third was on a buzzer beater by Wisconsin - on the road (no one wins there) and a one-point loss against Illinois.

In that span, they also won five games against tournament teams: 2 against Penn State, 2 against Michigan State, one against Illinois.

I understand that this team is not exactly Duke or Kansas, but they lost three starters from last year's team and have no seniors.

UM seeing that it is easier to make 3s when the other team stops playing.

    Dear Mike Hamilton,

Congratulations for having a hand in this debacle of a game. After you fire Bruce Pearl, the school's president should kick your ass out of Tennessee for good.

    That was fugly as hell.

Meh they only made like 8-9 three pointers and half of those were in the first half. That's actually a bit lower than usual for them. It was the layups and the offensive rebounding that won them the game. (Or got UT out of it)

Are we saying that the game was lost because of Pearl's status? If they won would you be saying they won for their embattled coach?

That team was about as stable as a yo-yo, which could make preparing for them a nightmare. With a John Beilein-coached team, one has a better idea of what is coming - good, bad or otherwise.

Mike Hamilton should be fired before anyone else in Knoxville. He makes Mike Garrett look like a choirboy.

Fifty bucks said there was a TV just outside that door in an adjacent room and he was watching to see if Oakland would rally.

Hopefully. Turns out Kiffin wasn't the biggest douche at that school.
