Man, nowhere in sports is prevailing sexism more apparent than watching football on Sundays. Evidently, women are qualified to stand on the sideline and ask canned questions and make mundane observations, but they aren't allowed to advance up to the booth to call the game in those higher-paying jobs. Silly.

This thread is stupid for many reasons, but while everyone likes to bitch about how there's no women in the NFL Broadcast booths, they never bother to answer this question - how many new men have been hire for the same position? There aren't a lot of PxP jobs around, so it's not like Fox and CBS are hiring unqualified men over a woman who might be qualified.

What do you think the male/female breakdown for radio voiceovers is? For television commercials and newscast VOs? For public address systems?
