    Back in the early days of e-mail (I'm talking Elm and Pine on college campus servers in 1994-95), I changed my handle to Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo (his real full name), which surely scared the hell out of people when they saw that in their Inbox.

    Was just goofing around, as 19-year-olds tend to do. But that was around the time of the rise of the Nigerian advance fee fraud e-mail scam, so the African name on e-mails probably wasn't so keen for actual respectable communications.
