    Does this mean Les Bowen and Jeff McLane would be beat partners? LOVE it.

    Les & Jeff are fine.

    They're two exceptional journalists and good guys, and something happened on a very competitive beat that they both regret. They've both moved on and I don't think they'd mind me saying they get along fine.
