Sportsdesigner.com calling it quits

Was cruising over to sportsdesigner.com, one of my favorite sites to look at cool stuff and get some inspiration (ie- rip off, just kidding) and saw that they have decided to shut it down.
It's a sad day for sure, really liked that site.
Just wanted to come on here and break the news, even though I know most designers here already knew.

 

A good enough time and place to plug it . . .

When news page designer went away, the people who ran it day to day put together a new place to upload your pages/look at others.

It is more like a social networking site, but pretty easy to upload your portfolio pages, and they are presented really nicely on there, even an option to run your portfolio as a slideshow. I have a feeling that potential employers are more impressed by this kind of presentation than they might be turned off, so I would recommend starting an account over there.

 

The website itself seems to have gone the way of the dinosaur and the moderate Republican, but have no fear — the site still operates on Facebook as a page available to follow:

Last update was 19 hours ago and plenty of sports design pages still make their way to the new digs.
