HIMYM Season....um...what season is it?

I thought the episode was well-conceived ... but it just didn't make me chuckle.

 

I liked the story-telling device of showing what was happening in each room.

I know the song worked with what was happening in the episode, but who has a housewarming party full of what look like fairly well off and sophisticated people and fires up Blue Oyster Cult's "Burning For You" on the ol' hi fi?

This. At the end, I wasn't even really sure what the hell had happened for most of it.

 

Yeah, the story wasn't great, but the story-telling I liked...if that can make sense.

 

Agreed. If indeed this show is heading toward its final episodes this season followed by one more season, some things are going to have to start coming to a head sooner than later.

 

Yeah, they do seem to be running in place.

And you thought this before tonight's episode. That ending sure as hell clinched it.

 

The worst thing they ever did was announce that it was coming back two years, now we know how they'll get there.

On a brighter note, at least now we know who Barney is marrying.
